Heavy Armor in Dark & Light provides more physical resistance and no magical resistance. These sets are found under the Armor Crafting Knowledge Skill. The Heavy Armor tier in game is as follows:

• Leather Armor
• Bronze Armor
• Iron Armor
• Ranger's Armor
• Mithril Armor
• Darkstone Armor

The Light Armor sets in Dark & Light provide some physical resistance as well as magical resistance. This set is found under the Tailoring Knowledge Skill. The Light Armor tier is as follows:

• Druidic Armor
• Fur Armor
• Brimstone Armor
• Icewind Armor
• Mithril Robe Armor
• Lightstone Armor

Some higher tier armor sets at the moment provide worse bonuses to armor or magical defense than the tier before them. It is recommended to use the lower tiers with better stats until this is fixed and/or balanced out.
