To fly across the map, to carry other animals such as the boar, panther, sheep, horse. They also make good mules due to their high weight. Is capable of gathering hide and meat.

They're pretty much the one flyer you're going to want If you're looking for a flyer that is capable of fighting, traveling & transporting other tames (and other people if they jump on the griffins tail or head) They're quite aggressive creatures attacking pretty much everything in the wild and will chase you down if you can't outrun or get it to attack something else. They're quite easy to tame due to their aggressive nature seeing as they stick around to try and kill you as you shoot stone hook arrows into it. A high level one (108+) takes about 2hours to tame on raw meat, time decreases when using prime meat and carnivore feed.
